All butterflies and insects are real and are framed on acid-free cardboards in picture frames made of varnished real wood with real glass. There is a wall mount on the back of the picture frame and a label with the Latin name and the location where it was found.

Our insects and butterflies are truly unique specimens of nature! That's why they may vary slightly in color and shape and occasionally show small damage or traces of flight - but that's exactly what gives them their natural charm and uniqueness, we think. That's why we also use specimens that are not flawless.

There are different quality levels:

A1 Quality: or ex-pupae. Flawless quality.

A1/A1 quality: The specimen is without any relevant damage. However, it may have slight flight marks and minimal scratches or cracks. Most of our specimens are A1 - A1 quality.
A1/A quality: The specimen has heavy flight marks and/or scratches. A piece of the antenna may also be missing.
A2 Quality: The specimen has defects such as slippage, discoloration, cracks, missing antennae.

Special information about our Morpho butterflies: The male Morpho butterflies do not have an abdomen, which is removed before preparation. It produces a lot of oil and causes an unsightly discoloration of the wings.

This product is not a toy and is not suitable for children under 12 years of age. It is not for consumption.

The product contains delicate natural materials. It must not be forcibly opened or manipulated.

The product contains glass, which can form sharp edges if broken. Broken glass can lead to injury.

In case of glass breakage, loose shards must be disposed of immediately with appropriate protective measures.

Some frames contain small decorative elements such as dried plants, stones, or insect fragments, which may detach if damaged. These small parts pose a choking hazard and must not be swallowed.

The product must be kept out of the reach of small children and pets.

The product must not be exposed to direct sunlight, moisture, or extreme temperatures to avoid damage. It must not be placed near open flames or heat sources.

Disposal must be carried out in accordance with local regulations for glass, natural materials, and decorative elements.

Storage & Handling:
The product is for indoor use only.

In case of damage, loose parts, glass shards, and small parts must be disposed of with caution.
